The 11th Annual Emerson-Blanquerna Global Communication Summit will be held at the facilities of the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations (URL) on Friday, October 10, 2025. The summit will feature an inaugural session, presentations and panel discussions that will address the geostrategic changes occurring at a global level, the impact of the technological revolution we are experiencing, and the capabilities of sport as a tool to promote well-being, human relations, and communication. Beyond these specific areas, the program also includes other contributions, always related to the field of communication and international relations.
The meeting will begin on Friday, October 10, at 8:30 a.m. with participants registration, followed by a welcome session and an inaugural lecture by journalist and CIDOB researcher Carme Colomina. After a coffee break, the different papers will be presented in two separate rooms during morning and afternoon sessions.
The rooms and the auditorium are located in the library of the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations (Carrer de Valldonzella, 12, Barcelona).
